Presentation - "South Sudan: Achievements and Challenges of a New Nation"

A presentation by the Honorable Dr. Akec Khoc, Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan
Wednesday, March 6, 2013 6:00 p.m. in Stouffer Auditorium

The East African nation of South Sudan gained independence from Sudan in  July 2011. The ambassador will discuss the historical process through  which his nation was born and will outline a way to the future.

This event is sponsored by the Pan-African Studies Program.  The event is free and open to the public.
