Mushy Movies ♥ Week 2 - April 8

This week my blog will be highlighting Gone With The Wind.

This book turned movie is on AFI's list of "Most Passionate Films of all Time" at number two.

It's quite lengthy (3 hours, 53 minutes), but this classic is definitely worth watching.

Released in 1939, the film is based in the middle of the Civil War era.

In summary, the movie tells the story of a southern belle, Scarlett O'Hara (played by Vivien Leigh), who just wants to marry the man she's always dreamed of, Ashley Wilkes.  The drama of the war sends the entire cast through a whirlwind of events.  Throughout the movie, people are humbled and the characters end up just wanting the war to end.
