On March 6, 2012, I tried to be healthy but soggy lettuce was just not cutting it.
Quiznos is usually the place I go for my health kick because I adore the Honey Mustard Chicken Salad...
My salad included chicken, onion, cheese, tomatoes, banana peppers and of course lettuce. The only problem with my salad was the fact that I had to pull half my lettuce out because it was soggy and disgusting.
My friend, Natalie C. Mumaw also a IUP student, had a Quiznos. She was pickier with her lettuce and basically had a chicken veggie bowl, lite on the lettuce.
"Around 40% of my Quiznos salad was inedible due to wilted and scummy lettuce," said Mumaw.

Since I ate lettuce I figured I'd research why it's healthy for me, finding that it is actually the veggie of the month! It gives a 70% of Vitamin A which is essential just like all of the other vitamins we need in order to have a healthy lifestyle. Knowing I didn't get to enjoy my whole salad I wasn't only left hungry but I was also short on my Vitamin A!
Obviously it was a fault on the Quiznos location at Folger's in IUP but there should never be a time when a restaurant serves their paying customers soggy lettuce, I wasted my flex on half a salad that did not satisfy myself or Mumaw.
