I need to focus on the discussion question and not keep turning the focus elsewhere.

Format the bibliography better where it makes it easier to group sources and make sure to put in alphabetically.

Use outline to help guide me through the whole paper and really discuss in detail the topics I want the reader to know.

Dont forget about general idea of paper and try to stay on point.

Define facebook, the appeal of facebook, privacy that varies for each generation (why different generations use facebook), effect of use for users, knowledge of facebook privacy policy for users, How does facebook violate users privacy, Why do users still use facebook knowing or not knowing their lack of privacy

3. Introduction - This is the beginning of your full draft. It prepares a reader for your study by: identifying the topic, relevant conversation(s), and research question. It lays the foundation for the research question in terms of: your interest, OR its importance, OR relation to ongoing conversations. The introduction also addresses how your purpose relates to the theme of the digital life. (2-3 paragraphs)

Fieldwork brainstorming

On the discussion over Facebook and privacy, the best method of fieldwork would most likely be to create a survey to print off and give to peers asking them their knowledge and opinion on Facebook and their personal privacy. Some questions could be: Are you aware of all the personal information you are giving someone? Does your privacy feel violated at times with Facebook? Do you think the different generations of people use Facebook differently?

Abstract take 2

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

With the suffnificant increase in today's technology, society's term of privacy is becoming of less and less importantance rearranging the lives of different generations to a new extent.

As the future becomes present, more and more people want to continue to advance technology but do not know the risk of the outcome.

People using these websites will have given away almost all their personal information including: adresses, phone numbers, passwords, and ect. The right to people's personal privacy is being violated by the new popularity of these social webistes, which will lead to a problem in the new future.

Social websites, like Facebook, are starting to abuse their users privacy by documenting every picture, post, or blog downloaded to their websites, causing people's personal information to be presented nationally out in the open on a homepage.

Will future technology take over society's personal privacy?

This paper will begin to answer the question by providing the background of technology and the change in privacy decades ago compared to now. Also, how the web is just starting to get massive and how not many users completely understand the depth of the web. Discuss the facts about the increase of technology and why there is a decrease in privacy. Social websites owners that make it big can now compare to CEO's of large corporations that have been around for many years. This explains the security needed to prepare for the future because many people are not computer literate.

Conversation to Research Question

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

The conversation with the scienitist and government officials because the readers will want to know the expectations of technology in the future and what type of laws will be made to control peoples privacy.

I will give both points of the sides and choose a side and persuade.

no clue

Who could run the whole interent?

What would be a good policy to expand technology and control privacy?

When is it going to go to far?

Could there possibly be a balance between the two?

Would people obey the laws dealing with peoples personal info

Should there be anything done or do people reqally care now a days?

Could there really be a balance between the expansion of technology and peoples privacy? In the next twenty years technology will have completely turn the world around.

My topic is about how societys privacy is effected by the increase of technology.

Topics like the increase in security on job applications (Obama Admin)

Topics like social websites taking personal information from people

Topics like increasing technology can reveal the unseen, unknown, forgotten, or withheld info.

Goverenment Officails

Scientists

Lawyers

Websites creators

People being violated through web

The best two in a debate would be goverenment officials vs lawyers because the question is are the regulations being broke and what are the future plans for this problem.

6. website creators because they have to be aware of the legal issues of creating websites.

7. scientist to explain the expected future of technology and its future laws

8. scientists and lawyers

9. How does the importance of technology effect our social privacy as american citizens?

I think I am going to stay with the same idea of my short essay paper and try to expand it alittle. I am not sure about any other sources I could find but hopefully there will be some out there. The topic that the more advanced technology the more society gives up their right to privacy.
